Xerox Health Fairs Announced
Thursday, October 23, 2008, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Xerox Historical Archives wants your Xerox stories The Xerox Historical Archives is part of Xerox Corporation and exists to collect and preserve documents, media, and artifacts pertaining to the evolving history of the Xerox Corporation, it’s products, and events that have lasting historical value to the Corporation. In an effort to capture the “living” history of Xerox we are trying to build a collection of Xerox stories. We would like tap the greatest resource of all for Xerox tales by inviting Xerox retirees to contribute to this effort. We are looking for stories that Xerox retirees tell about their jobs, the people they worked with, their customers, and unique events. They can be humorous, thoughtful, or offer guidance. For example: the ah-ha moment that brought a solution to a show stopper problem; that unfortunate lab error that became a new discovery; unlikely circumstances that led you to work for Xerox; a sales call that went wrong but you closed the deal anyway; how people who competed against each other found common ground. These tales provide a snapshot in time and offer an insight to the people who helped make Xerox great. The stories must be in writing and include where the circumstances took place and the year they happened. Also, please be sure to include your Xerox organization and the year you retired. Email your Xerox story to aneal@xerox.com or send it to:
Ann Neal We are also looking for Haloid, Haloid Xerox, Xerox or Xerox subsidiary artifacts and documentation of historical value. This can be product documentation, newsletters, actual Xerox products, machine supplies, mugs, lapel pins, T shirts, etc. If you have anything you feel may be of interest and wish to donate to the Archives, please email Ann Neal at aneal@xerox.com or call her at 585-265-5462. There are no federal or state tax deductions allowed for donations to the Archives and all donated items become the property of the Xerox Historical Archives. |
